In March 2000, we made our first trip to Italy-Venice,
Florence and Rome.
It was our first major vacation after our marriage
in Oct. 99. We spent hours gawking at ancient monuments, and admiring Renaissance
art. The days were spent walking through the narrow streets, from one historic
place to the other at the same time admiring the way the new icons seemed
to blend so effortlessly with the ancient ones. It's hard to say
what we found most breathtaking about these cities - the opulence of the
Vatican, the timelessness of the Forum, the top speed of a Fiat Bambino
or the bill for our dinner in Venice. We will appreciate your feedback.
