A Glimpse of Italy  
San Giovanni in Laterano, Rome :  Founded by Constantine in the 4th century this was the first Christian basilica  constructed in  Rome and is the city's  official cathedral. The basilica houses the silver reliquaries
 containing  the heads of  SS. Peter  and Paul which  are copies of the twice-stolen originals in the tabernacle over the papal altar.
